Takumi HORIE

Born in 1988 in Moriguchi City, Osaka Prefecture.
Graduated from Kinki University’s Faculty of Arts, majoring in Fine Arts in 2010.
Completed his Master’s degree at Kanazawa College of Art in 2012.
From 2012 to 2016, he worked as a part-time assistant in the Faculty of Arts at Kinki University, during which time his current artistic style began to emerge around 2013.
In 2017, he moved to Kanazawa after being invited by ceramic artist Yudai Yonai and began running a shared house. He continues to work as a staff member at the Green Arts Ceramics Studio, creating both at the studio and at home.
