Yurina KUMAI

Debuted on March 3, 2004, as part of the idol group “Berryz Kobo” (Hello! Project) at the age of 9.
In spring 2007, Berryz Kobo held a solo concert at Saitama Super Arena, setting the record for the youngest performers to do so. That same year, they made their first appearance at the 58th NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen.
Kumai gained popularity both domestically and internationally, performing concerts overseas and receiving the Asia Song Festival Newcomer Award. During Berryz Kobo’s 11 years of activity, they released 36 singles and 8 albums. The group ceased activities on March 3, 2015.
From October 2015 to March 2021, Kumai worked as a reporter for TBS’s *King’s Brunch*. She has also been a regular on *Kanafuru TV* (tvk) since April 2018. In addition to her work as a television talent, Kumai has modeled for brands such as GIORGIO ARMANI, YUMI KATSURA GRAND COLLECTION, and JETSET SOLO PLUS.
