The Japanese instrument trio "Itoharuka" was formed in 2019 by classmates from the Tokyo University of the Arts' traditional music department. They perform to showcase the beauty of Japan’s traditional "koto" and to introduce its charm to new audiences. Each member brings their own unique style, performing a wide range of music, from classical and original pieces to pop.
The theme song of the ONE Ariake Art Festival, "Ariake Sea," is a composition for traditional Japanese instruments. It captures the serene scenery, the tidal flats, and the history of the Ariake Sea, reflecting the lives and traditions of those who lived by its shores.
